About Rainmaker
Rainmaker is an India-based culture and compliance learning company focused on helping organisations build more ethical, inclusive and compliant workplaces.
Established in 2016, Rainmaker works across a broad spectrum of organisational culture and compliance needs from Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH), Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging, Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption, Data Protection & Privacy, and Code of Conduct to Leadership Development.
With 1,400+ organisations served, 9M+ employees sensitised and 3,200+ workshops conducted, Rainmaker operates at the intersection of compliance, learning and organisational culture.
What makes Rainmaker particularly interesting from a product-design perspective is its approach to compliance. Rather than treating compliance as a purely regulatory or administrative exercise, the company focuses on making learning engaging, accessible and impactful through dramatized e-learning modules, facilitator-led workshops, consulting, policy auditing and customised content.
As Rainmaker's offering expanded beyond training content into digital products, there was an opportunity to translate this philosophy into the product experience itself — making complex compliance processes easier to understand, navigate and manage.
The opportunity wasn't to digitise compliance. It was to make the journey more human, understandable and actionable.
Make complexity feel simple. Make sensitive moments feel clear. Make compliance more human.
Rainmaker LMS: Making compliance learning feel less like compliance
A traditional LMS can easily become a repository of courses. Rainmaker was an opportunity to move beyond that, exploring personalised learning and content discovery so people find what's relevant, rather than navigating a static catalogue.
The WorkFLIX concept pushed this further, applying familiar content-consumption patterns to workplace learning. The intent wasn't to make compliance training feel like entertainment — it was to make it feel more intuitive and familiar.
The design exploration looked at:
Discover →Personalise → Learn → Track → Complete
The approach was to absorb complexity into the product architecture while keeping the user-facing experience focused, shaping information architecture, navigation, hierarchy, status communication and reusable interaction patterns underneath.
Case Manager
A workplace case can involve sensitive information, multiple stakeholders, documentation, investigation and a long sequence of events. The challenge wasn't to build a place to store case information — it was to help people understand what happened, where things stand, and what needs to happen next.
The Project focused on: How might we bring structure and transparency to sensitive compliance workflows, without losing the human context behind each case?
