About Sequifi
Sequifi is a fintech platform designed to simplify complex financial workflows for businesses and their customers, bringing HR, onboarding, payroll, commissions and performance management into one connected ecosystem.
The platform was created around a very specific operational problem: commission-led organisations often rely on multiple disconnected tools, spreadsheets and manual processes to manage their people and payouts. Sequifi brings these workflows together, creating a single operating layer from hire to paycheck.
Designing MVP Mobile experience
The mobile app was one of the key 0→1 initiatives during my time at Sequifi.
Rather than simply translating desktop experiences onto mobile, the experience was reconsidered around:
- Mobile-first task prioritisation
- Reduced cognitive load
- Quick access to high-value actions
- Responsive information architecture
- Clear status and workflow visibility
- Reusable interaction patterns

The objective was to create a mobile experience that felt like a natural extension of the Sequifi ecosystem, rather than a secondary companion product.
SequiDocs : Rethinking Documents
One of the concepts I worked on was SequiDocs, exploring how documents could become an active part of financial workflows rather than simply static files.
The design exploration looked at:
Document → Context → Action → Collaboration
Instead of treating a document as an isolated object, the experience considered what users needed to understand, complete, share, review and act upon.
This created opportunities to connect document experiences more deeply with the broader Sequifi workflow.
